Welcome

to Little Wonderland

A warm welcome from the Director and all the staff here at Little Wonderland Childcare to our very special centre. Thank you for choosing us to share the joyous times and irreplaceable memories of your child’s early years.

We are a family owned centre who value the importance of children and believe all families deserve a respectful, righteous and remarkable experience when sharing early childhood years.

We aim to provide not just quality childcare but a warm, homely happy atmosphere where your child can learn and grow. We aim to cater for each child in a special way by respecting each child and supporting each child’s own unique abilities and interests to help guide them through development in early childhood years.

To help us we have this parent handbook for you to have a read at your leisure. It is an important  means of communication so you as parents/guardians know all you can about our service and what we offer for you and your child.  This handbook is essential for you to help you feel comfortable and happy leaving your child in our centre and ensuring a smooth transition for you and your child.

All our caring staff are available to talk with you and share with you important information about your child as per our staff/parent communication policies.  We offer our time to you and ask you find time for us so we can unite together creating the most positive, beneficial and enjoyable experience for your child here.  Should you have any questions or suggestions please do not hesitate to speak with the centre director or friendly staff.

Believe and recognise that each child develops at their own pace and it is our duty with our knowledge and expertise to guide each child through all areas of development.

Recognise, be sensitive towards and respect each child individually and uniquely no matter gender, culture, race, ethnicity, religion or own special needs or additional needs.

Create a safe, positive and warm, secure, environment in which children can benefit, learn and grow from.

Support the rights of all children with special needs and endeavour to include all children in accordance with their abilities into the early childhood programs and meet the needs and interest of each child.

We believe that our programs are designed to ensure each child receives adequate observation and opportunity to learn, grow and develop through play.
