Little Wonderland

Little Wonderland Childcare is a family owned and family run centre. We take pride in the fact that all our staff here are not only caring and qualified early childhood professionals but go above and beyond what is required in providing the highest standard of care.

Our centre provides long day care for children aged from six weeks to school age. We provide educational and developmentally appropriate programs for all age groups that coincide with the Early Years Learning Framework ( National Quality Standard for High quality Child Care).  Our programs are designed to cater for all children with clear objectives and goals. These programs containing all educational and benificial experiences and activities are displayed in each room.

Staff information detailing names, qualifications, photos and personal philosophies are displayed on the door of each group.

Our centre is licensed under and complies with the Child Care Act, 2002 and the Child Care Regulations, 2003. Our centre is also approved by the Australian Government for the payment of Child Care subsidy.  This allows a percentage of your childcare fees to be government subsidised, taking onto consideration income and number of children in care.

Our centre is also registered with the National Childcare Accreditation Council and a member of Queensland childcare with further guarantees a high standard and professional service.

  • 5 room centre accommodating from children aged 6 weeks to school age.
  • Open 52 weeks per year 6am to 6pm
  • Approved Child Care Benefit (CCB) service
  • Provide all meals
  • Provide nappies and wipes
  • Two Large outdoor play areas both with soft fall and own sandpits
  • Loads of new recourses
  • Security systems containing individual security codes for our families to enter the centre.
  • Video surveillance to ensure the upmost safety of our children and families.

Centre Philosophy

We consider ourselves as Early Childhood Educators to always aim to provide the highest standard of care for each child at all times.  To uphold this we believe it is essential that all our staff

Believe and recognise that each child develops at their own pace and it is our duty with our knowledge and expertise to guide each child through all areas of development.

Recognise, be sensitive towards and respect each child individually and uniquely no matter gender, culture, race, ethnicity, religion or own special needs or additional needs.

Create a safe, positive and warm, secure, environment in which children can benefit, learn and grow from.

Support the rights of all children with special needs and endeavour to include all children in accordance with their abilities into the early childhood programs and meet the needs and interest of each child.

We believe that our programs are designed to ensure each child receives adequate observation and opportunity to learn, grow and develop through play.

We have 5 fabulous rooms for various age group two playgrounds and a sandpit area.
